Travelling is not just about seeing beautiful places. It’s about hearing, tasting, smelling, feeling, and the whole experience of going to different locales and immersing in environments different from your everyday life. It was my first time to travel alone outside of the country and I definitely had this in mind during the whole trip.

I left the Philippines with no day-to-day plans for this adventure. All I know is that I’m coming in through Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, I want to see the temples in Siem Reap, Cambodia and that I’m taking the flight back to Manila through Phuket, Thailand. Everything in between has not yet been determined and I will be relying on online reviews and recommendations by fellow travellers.
I want to share with you for now the highlights of this trip. I spent one day in Ho Chi Minh, had an amazing adventure in Da Lat, got on an ATV and went up and down the White Sand Dunes of Mui Ne, all in Vietnam. I had a glimpse of the gruesome recent history of Phnom Penh, spent 3 days dragging my jaw in awe of the temples of Angkor in Siem Reap, made a detour and stayed at a temple in Battambang, Cambodia. Spent the final leg of this trip chilling in Bangkok and the island of Phi Phi.
Here are some of the photos of amazing sights from this trip, and I can’t wait to share the rest of my stories and photos with you.

Erron, your photos speak volumes; they’re breathtaking and I see an entire country encapsulated in this. I believe that no matter how much training you have or expensive equipment you buy you CANNOT buy the photographer’s eye. Your talent is priceless because each picture is a story! Loved your intro too. It’s like you took me in hand and showed me your Vietnam. We will never experience the same Vietnam but seeing it through your eyes makes it richer ๐ Sorry for the long-winded comment. I love love loved this–and if you will allow me to use one for my FB profile page I would be so happy. Thanks for sharing all this! ๐
